AFRICAN CURIOUS is curious shop that has a lot to offer.

The curious are imported from African countries I.e. Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, Ghana,

Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia among others.

Among the items sold but not limited to are:   Wooden / Iron Carvings, Sculptures, African Art,  Maasai / Fang / Tikar / Zambia Masks, Wooden Salad Bowls, Wooden Spoons, Beaded Wood Carvings, Cultural Jewelry (Beaded), Fabric Art and Batik,  Zulu and Maasai spears,  Stone carvings,  Bones jewelry, Traditional Baskets, Curved Maps and Pictures, African Statues, Collectable Antiques, Fertility Dolls, etc.

Meet Nancy, She is a Kenyan windowed lady, with over 15 years in curious business. She makes most of the beaded work herself.  She previously displayed her curious at Quigney beach front. The weather could sometimes be unkind, not only to her but also to the curious items. Due to weather she was limited to some few curious item that could stand the weather. At least twice in the last few years, all her curious had been taken by the waves and gone with the Ocean. She has had to start all over again a couple of times. Sun, Salt and wind are a big challenge to curious business.

Her dream to provide East London with unique and variety curios took a good turn, when she  partnered with Susan and opened a  shop next to East London Aquarium on Esplanade Street in Quigney.
